Our Firm’s History
Rosen Marsili Rapp LLP was originally founded in 1985 by Michael Posner and Howard Z. Rosen. Both having established reputations as prominent labor lawyers while working at Geffner & Satzman during the 1970s, the two set out to establish what would be known for three decades as Posner & Rosen LLP.
Originally representing unions in labor-management relations, Posner and Rosen expanded their practice to include the representation of non-union workers in both the public and private sector during the early 1990s. As a result, the firm became one of the first to actively practice traditional labor law, employment litigation, and public sector representation.
In the 2000s, the firm expanded with the addition of two attorneys — Jason C. Marsili and Brianna Primozic Rapp. Under the guidance and tutelage of Poser and Rosen, the four-member firm continued to expand its practice across the entire spectrum of labor and employment law, including class and collective actions on behalf of thousands of workers.
When Michel Posner retired from the firm in 2015, the remaining members of the firm pledged to maintain the standards of quality and excellence established over the previous 30 years, while continuing to evolve to meet the needs of workers today. As Rosen Marsili Rapp LLP, the firm remains true to its founding objective to support and defend the rights of all workers.
